Snowball

Seriously? Eggnog with lemonade? Absolutely!

A recipe by Jan Shaker Persiel

Hard as it may be to believe, this very simple drink can surprise you. The freshness of lemonade pairs beautifully with creamy advocaat (egg liqueur). You get a lovely creamy mouthfeel and a refreshing, fizzy drink at the same time. Great in summer!

This recipe comes with baggage. The good kind. After a swim in Grandma's pool, we'd sometimes have a lemonade, occasionally with a splash of advocaat (egg liqueur). It wasn't just delicious; it didn't contain quite so much alcohol, either. Well, actually, still too much. But hey, that was the 70s and 80s. These days, you make it for people over 18. Something like that, anyway. Cheers to wonderful afternoons by the pool!
